Coach House, Prestbury

Set in the grounds of a large existing house in the heart of Prestbury, this coach house was in good structural repair but in need of modernisation.

The clients wished to downsize and decided to move into the coach house.

It has been extensively refurbished and extended to create a new 2 bedroom dwelling.

A double height hallway and staircase provides additional height and a connection between the upper and lower floors.

During the construction, a original well was discovered in the courtyard.

A new glass cover preserves this interesting feature.
