George Hotel

Conversion of a redundant hotel into shops and apartments with new build houses and parking to the rear. The Hotel was originally built around a medieval timber frame and, in conjunction with English Heritage, each piece of timber was exposed and labelled.



Considered by English Heritage upon completion to be an excellent example of sensitive reuse and conversion, it is referred to as an exemplar by Tewkesbury Council.
